PUR adhesive binding
Prospektus Press has more than 30 years of experience in producing a wide range of catalogues. Our printing is always performed on the most suitable and most economical B/1 or B/2 format machine for the certain type of product, taking into account the number of copies, size and the number of colours.
In this product range high quality is of utmost importance, that is why, uniquely in our country, we print in 100 l/cm photo quality, at twice the resolution other printing houses use. We make 100 percent colour and print quality control regularly, during the printing process with our Heidelberg Image Control device, which is currently the most advanced sheet-fed offset print inspection system in the world. Our production is carried out under strict in-process quality control, which ensures constant high quality. For the cover of the product we offer a number of surface treatment solutions: glossy, matt, scratch-resistant matt or Soft Touch film laminating, effect varnishing, hot stamping foils or embossing. The front and back cover may be produced as a multi-page foldout.
From 2 mm to 70 mm spine width, brochures are bound using PUR technology, which technology was first introduced in Hungary by Prospektus Press. The advantage of PUR adhesive binding is its many fold bond strength compared to the traditional hot-melt technology offered elsewhere. In addition, rigidity of the book’s body is not affected by ambient temperature. A stable and strong backbone will result in a beautiful opening of the product. Catalogues are usually subject to heavy usage, that is why only PUR binding can provide the expected results!
